FNF ifive rom wanted. RK29 based

Hello, I just purchased a an ifive tablet on my trip to china. It is a nice little tablet that works well, aside from the fact I can not access official google apps store. I am hoping I can find a way to change that. Below are some of the specs

Their website has a great image uploading tool to flash the system. It seems like the company supports the device being open. I have contacted them about a US rom but have not gotten an email back from them.

I have the same problem... I purchase this tablet in china and now I'm back home and I want to access to official google play store..
My tablet is with android 2.3.1 and I want to update it with 4.0 but the update software is in chinese...did you find it in english?
Did they answer to your mail?
The man who sold me the tablet told me that it's the same tablet like the GEMEI G9, so maybe it's possible to use a firmware for the G9 on the ifive..
obviously i'm afraid to try !
I will appreciate if you have some more infomation that could help me..
