Jellybean (Android 4.1.1) Update for 7022 [Root and Gapps]

Hello there. I'm a bit late but I purchase my son this Coby Kyros Mid7022 tablet last Christmas and was unaware of the outdated Firmware. He has probably only used it three times since because he hasn't been able to download anything he wants. If you can please help a desperate parent out...I am seeking to find a way to update his tablet to at least 4.0 but cant seem to find any tutorials. The only DIY videos I've been able to find are old and are in German. Please help me before I trash this thing. Thanks a lot in advance!

Hello... I'm new in this forum, but I really need some help.
I have one Coby Kyros MID 7022 and I had Android 2.3.
I tried to update for ICS, uploading one ZIP on SDCard and re-starting.

But now my coby died, and just appears the logo of COBY.

This ZIP works for me?

I appreciate for any help

Yes it should work, but you must have a custom recovery.
