Excellent post spider. Probably true enough. Not sure where everyone went. I have been playing with the new host mode settings on my nook so I can get my camera pics downloaded directly to the nook and see things with a larger screen (funny how old eyes work!) I use a Nikon D70 and do lots of landscape photos which usually make it to my nook as backgrounds sooner or later. Sooner now that I can connect the camera directly. Now if I could just get the webcam working......

Been crazy busy...70+ hrs a week till October then vacation till March. So it goes living in paradise.

BTW I got a gTab yesterday. Not giving up my Nook by any stretch but the gTab is pretty slick. I've got CM7 on it and it hums along fairly well. Only up to 7.0.3 so no USB love (among other things) but like I said pretty slick.

Nice to be heard from, like I said crazy busy, but in a good way. Got a promotion, and a raise :->.

Yeah the gTab is nice I've had a few hiccups on the way to CM7, need to cruise the forums a little more. Nice to know I can call on J5 if need be. I'm sorry I fell off on the WNT just been at work for 12 hrs a day, who has the time? Tee Hee.

I got the gTab from my landlord for $200. He bought it a few months ago thinking he needed a tablet, turns out he didn't. I am probably just going to sell it to one of my buddies but it will be fun to play with for a while. Thing is fast. Really fast. CM7 oc'd to 1400 and the thing screams. A bit different setup than the NC. As I said had some issues but so far so good.

How is everyone else doing these hazy days of summer? I hope you all are beating the heat


This is what I deal with every night. Friday it was 130... yeah DEGREES! in the kitchen, for 5 and a half hours. Delightful doesn't really cover how it feels, but it will have to do.

Tropical is how we refer to it, Oppressively Tropical. Yeah that's it.....
