Hey SP, glad you could join us. It's good to see the Cafe back in business again. I'm pretty sure JP will be here any time now to offer his condolences to Gloria on her loss as well.

Yes, I have been checking in but was sort of enjoying the sound of crickets Well at least that was better than reading about Gg's Nook

It is nice to see everybody rally and respond though. Maybe LS can get the card of one of those guys with the nice looking hair cuts (hey I have the same barber, what can I say ) and put him on the case. I'd be willing to donate to that kind of justice

So sorry to hear about your Nook Color Gloria. I doubt they'll return it once they find out it is (in a lot of ways) better than the ipad.

Thank you all guys , you made me feel better with all this support. I was hoping the thief didn't know about the amazing possibilities of the nook once you insert a cm7 card, since I didn't have it in and so she would return it. I'm working tonite,let's see...still have hope.I'm glad also I didn't have in the card with all my playboy's pics! Thank you also for the offer,I can afford another one, you know it just feels so violating and personal when people who knows you,steal from you. If she keeps it,I guess she knows it is a NOOK COLOR and not an ipad, unfortumately for me.

I got the original Playboy magazines ,7 in all with all my pictures,don't worry guys. I just started to train my ass off to get ready for my next project, a calendar and I'll let Anima hang the first copy on the wall of the nook cafe, 12 pics so they are never going to be lost. I'm sure you guys are going to watch over them.! I miss my nook, the thief didn't return it last night,

I've been all around the web searching for a proper place to share all the wonderful things I discover.

I may have found it.

I also spend a bit of time on LocalStain's shake but the layout on Jux is really stellar. Just launched. Still kinda beta I guess but I like it so far. Looks GORGEOUS on BOTH of my tablets.

Been having a bit of a rough week, so it goes, more on that later. I hope everyone is doing well now on to the movies(I'm a little behind schedule)

First up a little bit of local (heh heh) color



This is a friend of mine here on the island, this is the courtyard in front of my restaurant. The stairs in front of me lead to the entrance. Sorry its so short but technically I was working.

Lets just say I am not messing about with this one. Hoping to dual-boot Win7/Lion (heck mebbe a bit'o Linux love on there too) and have an unstoppable machine.

We'll see.

Build begins Mon if all the pieces of kit arrive as expected. There will be photos, maybe video. Again we'll see.

Now for the main event, The Maestro....

Documentary chronicling the early years of the NYC underground DJ/dance club culture, pioneered largely by gay, black & hispanic men. Basically a tribute to Larry Levan, David Mancuso, Frankie Knuckles, Nicky Siano, Tony Humphries. Featuring the The Loft, Paradise Garage.​
