A used nook is better than a stolen
; one eheh. I bought few asus 7" for friends who trusted me with the bidding.....I have my style and I know how to chose a good seller, so far so good! My girls at the club are collecting the money to buy it....probably even the thief is going to have to contribute!

So, get a refurb already. After some of the horror stories I've seen here from people with used tablets, I don't think it's worth considering one unless you know the previous owner. There's stuff on them people can't get rid of, stuff missing they can't find anywhere, they can't get their account info for the market into it etc. etc. etc. The refurb will be clean and ready to go and you'll have a warranty.

Too late for a refurbished! I couldn't resist a last bidding last night ( very addictive this bidding sh...!) and I got my nook. Let's all keep our fingers crossed that is a good one. I got my CM7 cards ready, the ones that for some strange reason stopped working in my stolen one but are working in my friend's nook and hopefully are working in the new-used one as well.

There may be some consolation in this after all. Maybe the crook stole a broken Nook.

I'm still waiting to see how that whole Y2K issue works out in last Friday's book and who wins the stone tablet lawsuit. The way I understand it a court in Europe has now prevented the sales of Mayan stone tablets that can be used to predeict the end of the world because they are too similar to the ones made by those other guys.
