That's probably it. You can see the outlet's on the side where I've got them, and it would really look stupid with an extension cord running across the whole thing.

This thread has gotten too funny. Especially with the pics :D

Wives just do not understand that technical stuff.

I thought that was a great idea and I had mine up for a short time too. Now that I've cleaned up the broken glass and beer, I see why you used cans and not bottles. You probably emptied them first too. It would have been nice to point that out to others who might want to copy that tree design. Those "light" beers are not as light as they'd have you believe and the weight brought the whole thing crashing to the ground. I still think it would be nice to save a trip to the fridge and just pick one off the tree, but it didn't work out. The good news is the "Christmas Lights" incident is now apparently forgotten and replaced by the "Christmas Tree" incident.

After all my efforts you guys has missed the most important part of the tree. The tree topper is no a Coors Light but a Sapporo can.....

Anima, I think you saw the Galaxy player 5.0 at Best Buy, I believe that the note, the one I'm talking about, didn't make it to the States yet.

I have to say I looked at the Player 5.0 at Best Buy today and I would call this a tablet. A small tablet but still a tablet. Really reminds me more of a PDA than a phone. Anybody remember those? Ha

Hey watch it. :) I have had Palms for over ten years. Until HP came along and messed them up, they were great. Wifi wasn't real good, but those were the early days.

Yep the Palms were nice at the time, seems silly now though. I had a Compaq something or other running WinMo I thought was so cool but never really used because it wasn't very practical when it came down to it (no books, youtube or good internet browsing). It was easier to use a day planner (practically stone age tech) for contacts and calendar.

The PalmOS was good, but windowsCE was just plain buggy. The original HP Jornada's (not PalmOS but windows CE or windows mobile) were worthless pieces of junk. Sony made some incredible PalmOS devices.

I actually read a lot of books on my old Palms, the PRC/PDB or aportisDoc format. I think mobiReader was a Palm reader initially. Microsoft made an attempt on their mobile devices with .lit, which ran on windows machines as well. I think they only recently put it out of its misery.
