Try ICS Browser + (plus) I think it's called...but my tablet is quite slow at times. In fact even though I was sat next to the router last night I couldn't do any browsing at all. I found a wifi signal fix on another forum but it means taking the tablet apart. I might try it tomorrow and see if it helps. Will let you know how hard it is to do.

To be honest Wi-fi is the worst thing about this tab, and it can be really slow sometimes to open apps. I find a reboot helps most of the time. Oh and some games just do not work. I'm going to try a different Rom tomorrow so will see if that sorts any problems out.

Did you look into getting Titanium backup, well worth buying as you can freeze and uninstall apps and services you couldn't normally uninstall. You do need to be careful when using it though so let me know if you get it and I'll guide you through it.

ics browser plus isnt compatible with ployer momo, such a shame! so many apps arent compatible rwhy is this?

my router is right next to me so internet isnt an issue because i moved the router. its the tablet itself, just so slow...seriously getting annoyed with this browsing experience. my iphone loads quicker in safari then this tablet!

You need to go to the market and install "Allwinner Mod" This allows you to change the build of your tablet to a galaxy S2, therefore tricking the market into thinking you have a different device. You'll see a lot more apps are available.
As for the Wifi, it does look like it's a problem with this tab. I didn't get round to trying the antenna fix cause I don't want to take my tab apart just yet, but i'll be flashing a new rom soon and will see if this helps.
There is a new firmware out on the ployer website so it may be worth trying that and see if that fixes the issue.

thanks man, your such a big help!! ok i have another dilema... im trying to update my tablet to the latest firmware from the ployer website i downloaded the file and the intallation tool however my device doesnt connect to my laptop when when turned off so i cannot perform the firmware update, my laptop says it needs to find the android usb driver? i cant find anywhere were i can download the driver for my tablet, any ideas?

ok i changed it to gingerbread galaxy s II but still cant find the browser or facebook, twitter etc. why is this tablet turning out to have so many issues? :( web browsing is like watching paint dry and i have a super fast connection

Yeah I had lots of fun trying to get the pc to recognise the tablet. Got it right thanks to the following forum
http://tabletrepublic.com/forum/ivi...60tpc-k-ployer-momo9-official-thread-883.html Pretty much has all the relevant info for you. Ignore the firmware stuff and scroll down till you get to the livesuite section. You should be able to find the adb stuff in amongst all that too. Oh and have a look here as well http://www.****************/how-to-upgrade-ainol-novo-7-aurora-and-elf-firmware-rom/ Where it says connect the usb lead to the tablet and the computer,,,i would plug it into your pc before doing all that...then just plug it into the tablet.

Hope that helps you out a bit...sorry I can't be more helpful other than giving you a link, but i have to be up early in the morning so can't give you any more detailed info for now. see how you get on and i'll talk to you tomorrow and see how you're doing :)

you could probably do with running that eyeoncomputer script in the first link i sent you. But flash your firmware first do a clean install then run the script...it sorts out all sorts of issues with google play etc. As I say i'll speak to you tomorrow and help you out some more.

oh and that link should be uplaytablet . com where the asterix's are.... not sure if its a banned link or something

Seriously thinking of just returning the device :(, right so i tried locating the USBbug file which i did but windows didn't find anything in the file to locate so i still don't have no usb driver installed! Why does all of this have to be so bloody complicated! Help??!

i followed the instructions but no usb driver software was found in the USBbug file

My laptop said it didn't recognise the driver etc when switched on normally, although I could connect to transfer files. But when I turned my tablet on using the multi-press ready to update it came up saying that it was recognised and the driver was installed. I think it's not recognised in normal mode, only when in the update mode.

As for the wifi, I think the only solution is to physically open it up and move the antenna. I've done that and it's made a real difference. Just make sure you do it carefully with a plastic tool (not a metal blade) and take your time. Here's a LINK with guidance but there's better photos on the Spanish link in the thread.

Has anyone tried updating with the latest firmware on the Ployer website? - MOMO11Bird (MOMO11小鸟版) Android 4.0 firware 20120522_with Neutral LOGO. I've managed to download it but haven't got round to backing up my system and trying it.

What do you mean by multi-press? how to put my tablet into multi press mode?

EDIT: would appreciate a step by step guide to getting my pc to recognise the tablet in multi press mode please?

unfortunately i dont have a screw driver small enough for the screws in my tablet!

This is all new to me so I'm no specialist but I followed the step-by-step instructions that are with the LiveSuit software that you need to flash update (downloadable from en.ployer.cn). It says:-

"at this time:
i. Make sure your Tablet PC (MID) is turned OFF, and with at least 1/4 battery power.
ii. Hold pressing volume + button don’t loosen it, and then connect the device to your computer by USB cable. Don’t loosen volume +.
iii. Still hold pressing volume +, and press power button for ten times (short press power)"

I got a mini screwdriver set from Poundland (for £1 funnily enough :)) I had a plastic tool from a mobile repair kit I had previously got from ebay, but I'm sure you could improvise (a plastic picnic knife perhaps?)
