[ROM] ViewCOMB 3.2 - Honeycomb 3.2 for ViewPad 10s

I got the upgrade to work up to transferring system.img (about 20% of it) and then it jsut hang there.. waited over half an hour and still at the same point.. tried 3 build and to download the latest build on 3 diffrent hard drive (in case of corruption) and still no go. Also i dont get any kind of error mesage , my driver are still active my tablet is not on the lock mode and does show the text in the top left corner indicating it is in the recovery mode. Any idea???

got the wifi version not the 3G if it makes any diffrence

Did you try another cable and/or another pc?
Which OS are you running?

Which OS are you running?

Ok I tried with another computer and same issue just stop earlier int he transfer.
Changed the usb cable same issue
Tried the beta 6 build same thing...


starting to think it has something to do with my tablet... even the backup i made of the original system does not transfer back.

So i have a useless table. Don't think Viewsonic will help me on this even if the tablet is less than 2 week old.


IF anyone got an idea let me know

forgot to says 1st computer i used was win 7 (64)
2nd computer was win xp with latest update

Legionnaire, build 6 is fantastic! Been playing around with it all day it hasn't crashed on me once. In 5.1 flash video was was force closing in the middle of videos but tested it out on several videos and it played perfect without a problem! The rom itself is much faster as well without lag especially when going back and forth between landscape mode. Thanks again to you and all your hard work! Fantastic!

Hi All,

Like many I've been lurking and waiting for Beta 6 to come out. Tried it out today and worked great.
Problem I have is when I got home it wouldn't disconnect from the last Wireless access point it was on, just wouldn't see any other too.
So I rebooted it and it's now stuck on the Reboot screen with the View Comb logo swishing in together and the progress bar going along the top, then it goes over and over again.
Anyone else Rebooted OK?
Any idea what I can do now as am bit stuck?

Whether it happened when you first time reboot device after installation?

No the first reboot after the install worked fine.
Connected to Wifi and checked a few web pages, nothing installed at all.
Tried another Wifi and it just wouldn't recognise any in the house.
Then rebooted and got stuck.
Am sure I can Flash it back to original, just hoping it's not an issue in ROM.

It is still a beta version, there may be minor problems. In any case, thanks for the notification, I'll try to fix the issue.

You don't need to use modded stock, just follow instructions in the first post.

But unfortunately i have the same Problem as Robrant, my Viewpad is in the "bootloop" where the ViewComp text and the blue statusbar is shown....!

What i have done(before the bootloop)
*Select a WLAN
*Visit a few Internet sites
*Devicestandby (after reactivation no WLAN-connection)
*Not able to get an another WLAN connection ('Error' is shown under the WLAN settings)
*Reboot option selected
*BOOTLOOP.........

Maybe these infos are useful for you !

Sad but true....'reflashing' ViewComb doesn't help.We only can hope that someone can fix these problems !

Hi, how about 3G/GPS ? I'm currently running 5.1 build and neither of them is working. Perhaps it would be wise to switch to version with working 3G/GPS, however I have no clue which that could possibly be. Could someone advise ? best regards Robert.
