[ROM] ViewCOMB 3.2 - Honeycomb 3.2 for ViewPad 10s

Hello, I want to test the new 7.2, but I'm confuse how I create the swap partition.
I've read the article posted by DaHanz, and in the article they talk about a script.
I know already that i can create the swap partition with CWM, but do i've use that script?
Thx in advance,
Gonçalo

Thanks Legionnarie

so far the viewcomb 7.2 don't have any major problem only minor . Keep up the good work

I use "Swapper" from the market at the moment and it works very well, no need to set up any script.
It simply creates a swap file on your sd card - even with my current class 2 card it does its job :)
But I am going to order a class 10-version this days, going to post how the improvement is^^

And feel free to ask again if this didn't hit your question! :)

/EDIT/
Btw this version will also work without a swap-partition, that's just a recommendation from Legionnaire (if I understood that right)...

I thinks thats the case too, was using my pad last night, without the swap file, and experienced no slow down, however, if your multitasking, it will come in handy, the tab has 512mb ram, but 256mb of that is reserved for system, leaving just another 256mb for everything else, and as the gpu portion has been increased to 160mb, using a swap file on your sd card will certainly help the system when running more than a few tasks, when installed (this rom, 7.2) I noticed it had just over 200mb ram free, saying that, I cant help but be bloody impressed with the quality of this build, its so much better than 6.3, I was using the stock browser last night for about 6 hrs, watching videos and streaming on the bbc site, I havnt found any issues with this build at all, all credit goes to the dev, its an extremely well worked piece of coding, I even done a test with an ipad to see which would load a youtube video fastest, this build was about 2 seconds faster, it seems just as responsive, if not faster, than my brothers ipad, seeing as he paid £400, and I paid a measly £110 for my viewpad, I am more than chuffed with the results, just shows you what hard work, and dedication can achieve.

if your running stock, or 6.3, get your pad a new lease of life, install 7.2.

just a little note, dont update google maps, I think the issue of the app fc'ing and crashing is still there, its a minor gripe, otherwise, everything else works just fine.

@DaHanz in the evening i'll give a try. I've already a Samsung 32gb class10, that I've bought for a good price here in Portugal... it was about €30 including transportation.

Did you have any problems with that? Mine worked out fine^^

Oh, that seems quite cheap! You should enjoy your tablet with a card as fast as those samsung class 10 ones! :)

Hello I installed the new 7.2 version of your ROM and the message "usb bootloader message" dissapeard. The only thing that is not working properly (in my case, I don't know about another users) is that WiFi is not working..I reeboted my viewpad to fix this problem and worked fine to fix the problem like 5 or 6 times. But now even I reebot I still can't get the Wifi working (it stucks with a message "Obtaining IP Adress" then "Disconnectin" then "Scanning").

Hey Leggionaire I really thank you for all the efforts you do and for keeping on improving this ROM. Your awesome...thanks a lot for sharing!

Hi Legionnarie,

This 7.2 is really a BIG step... looks and works fantastic !!!

As you maybe remember, I have troubles with my oversensitive touchscreen. After a lot of installs, ramdomly some instalations works almost fine, so I stopped and was using 6.3, and now tried this 7.2... Seems I had luck and worked almost fine the sensitivity again... a little exagerated at bottom and a little low at top, but I can live with that, this new version made a better Viewpad than before...!!!

Other thing I noticed: Sometimes I get some troubles using bluetooth AND WiFi at same time.

Other than this, anything is better than before...!!!

Amazing work, as usual... a BIG THANKS,
Javier.

:D

P.S.: I'm using Swapper from Market with 480 MB file... a big swap file, bigger than 350, will be better or worst ?
