[ROM] ViewCOMB 3.2 - Honeycomb 3.2 for ViewPad 10s

Hi there
I'm new in this forum and i just register to say that this update it's just AWSOME, i get it right at the first try. My tablet is another piece of equipment for now on.
Thanks a lot to the developers.
Regards and a Great Year for everybody

Hi again
After exploring this new rom 7.1 i get the "starting fastboot usb download protocol" i've been trying to re-install de rom but i can't. I've done all the steps but i'll get always the same message " no device found" when i do the sequence with the buttons the fastboot screen appears is that suposed to do? Or has to appear another message on the screen? I have de controllers installed and it recognizes the fastboot all the time. Is anything wrong in what i do?
Thanks

Edit: I've discovered the mistake, i wasn't making the sequence correctly. But it's ok now

I found the stock browser error crashing constantly. When I double click to zoom after a couple of seconds browser crashes but pinch to zoom works ok.

Hi again
Does anyone knows how to do copy/paste in efile? I'm not getting to do the paste. Is there a user manual for this viewcomb?
Regards

Hi, I have a problem with the installed applications; everytime I boot the device some of the applications are missing randomly. I can see the data files and the name (like com.application) in the applications list but they are considered not installed. Do you get this too?

This is not usable at all. I just installed it today, and within one day I've had to reflash it twice because it bricked.

The wi-fi turns off, and when I try to turn wi-fi on again it just says "error." Then when I shut down the device and then power it on again, it just says "starting fastboot usb download protocol" and never boots.

Apparently that problem has something to do with rebooting while in USB host mode, but after the first time I reflashed it I specifically set it to USB peripheral mode, yet it still bricked.

development on this rom stopped?
Developement currently goes on with ICS - not sure if there will be some update here.

Try 6.3 this should be running fine - I use still 6.1 at the moment and I am very happy with it! :)
The error with the "fastboot usb download protocol" is a known bug and this is what many posts here tell you^^

I'll give 6.3 a try then.

Another problem I had was the web browser randomly crashing, just when visiting sites like Gmail/Google Voice (desktop versions). Has anyone else had issues with the web browser?

Just install Dolphin or Maxthon Browser and you will be fine, also every other browser should work.

  • Video playback grainy set to 32bit depth
  • Disabled allow nvmap to use system memory and reclaim iovmm which gives a slight performance boost
