Sylvania SYTABEX7 Owners: Must Read

I just received my rma from dg so i'll be shipping my tablet back today or tomorrow.They didn't say if they were going to send a different tablet.will post after i get my tablet back.

What I understand is, they send you the SYNET7LP.

I'll be able to confirm in a couple days.

So far the "service reduction" tweaks look to be working well. I played one 1:20 minute movie and still had 67% battery left. Playing another one right now, almost at 1 hour into it.

Could you post every tweak, all the apps that you renamed it?
I mean, by manufacted, the battery only last 3 hours and that on stand by... but you are getting 2h and 30 minutes watching movies.... thar is pretty amazing.... please post it how you did it/renamed/removed.
That alone should be worth a post alone.

I just got my new unit from Digital Gadgets
All I can say is "don't be stupid, send yours in," to put it bluntly.

Not only does the new unit have an HDMI port, but it also has a G-sensor and Android 2.2. I've only had it out of the box for 5 minutes, and a ton better than the Sylvania SYTABEX7.

More to come as I play around with this new unit.

How many tries did it take before someone answered the phone at DG?

I believe they are short-staffed

well they received the one i shipped today and the guy who emailed me told me that they will update the tablet and he didn't say if thet would ship a different one.But i hope so.

Did they email you the tracking info for the new unit?

I sent in the SYTABEX7 from CVS and got the SUNET7LP

They will send you a tracking number, it took about 2 weeks, as they told me it would.

The SYTABEX7 is not being made anymore, a rep from Digital Gadgets informed me.
