I believe the cable we used is the adapter supplied with the haipad M7, not a specifically purchased OTG cable.

Device bricked hiya i tryed flashing the new version v24 and it has totally bricked the device get to boot screen then nothing any ideas on how to fix i am downloading the sdk to see if this can access it via adb

I'm not telling you what to do, but this happened to me twice. I solved by leaving the tablet alone for a few hours (before that, mine didn't even turned on), then I restarted in recovery mode (back+home+power), full wiped and restarted. Everything worked fine after that, but don't ask me why the full wipe did not erase all data. If I'm right, the tablet won't start in recovery mode if the battery is close to the end of charge, so charge the tablet before starting.

A question that may be silly: are you inserting the sim card with the tablet powered on? This is never a good idea, try inserting the SIM with the tablet off.
Mine usually shows this error message (V24 HD104) when I turn it on, but this process restarts after I click "ok". 3g works ok afterwards.

The first pad I have given up on working with T-mobile. Added the Data plan and still nothing. Think its a bad radio or SIM slot.
I will keep it as the shipping and risk shipping it back to China and it making it are higher than just getting another one at cost. Before I go that route. Has anyone with T-mobile USA gotten this tablet to work?

Just received my Dreambook today. Still charging. 90% It won't stay on or do anything but show the main screen with wallpaper and the time. Is this because its not fully charged?

I insert the sim card when the tablet is off. It will display the error message whenever my sim card is in my tablet. Thanks for replying.

I now have most things working. Just can't get the Prepaid SIM I bought to activate. The SIM from my mobile phone works though so I'll have to persevere with the activation.
