I have delayed the patch release, we have Holiday here in the USA, so I have to focus on that. Next week you'll have your patch. Then you can use this ROM. I'll try to have a patch for the current only.

Same here, no touch screen after upgrading. Tried to do Touchpanel calibration using USB mouse, but it still failed.

Not going to work then. Are you sure aPad? Do you have these ports? ePad/Flytouch only 7" or 8" with 256MB (patch for 128MB out later) with 24-port slot and not 30-port

This one disables my Huawei Modem for 3g Connection. Just keeps connecting. Hope its fixed soon

If you TS doesn't work then it's your hardware and the MOD don't work together.
If you want 3G then Deluxe version has every active. Extreme and Extreme Plus designed to get the best speed but you loose hardware features too. Extra and Table Zone then you got the basic one you have decided what you can live with or not. I just give you the ROMs for you to use. Again you have to have the right hardware.

Again there are different PCB starting with WMS8088A, B, C, D, (E) - current this one has to use WMT2xxx ROM like this one. ePad or Flytouch is what I have. Can't help you with aPad, gPad, iPed, M001, M002, M003, M004, M005, M006 an etc those are aPad or EKENS brand you need a different ROM.

Can somebody pls. help me if they tried out this firmware without any problems ? Pls. take note that i have an 8 inch apad not the usual 7 inch ? I'm afraid to use this firmware as I don't have a copy of the original firmware nor do I know how to get it. The apad that I have is pretty much generic.

About the port, the easiest is to use the Apple USB cable.
Find somebody with an iPod/iPhone and borrow their cable.
Plug it in.
If it fits, plug the USB end into any XP PC.
With the tablet & PC on, it should show a USB icon on the taskbar & the device should show up on the PC as a card reader with 2 drives.
At least, that is what it does on my clone running either Rudroid or Extreme Plus....

Yes that's the one. Really confused between ePad/aPad, but i'm sure it's a flytouch based from the ports.
It has a 7" screen, 256MB DDR2 Memory, 2GB internal memory. Not sure about the usb interface, but it may be a 24 pin slot.

I bought this last week, it came with firmware version 1.6, Kernel version 2.6.29-00236-g4f8dbbb-dirty, Build version WMT2.1_88.

Please advise.

Note: Do you know where I could find the original firmware for this? I am thinking of returning it to its original state. Thanks.

Yes I have used that iPhone connector in my ePad to connect to my PC.

if its not vibrating when you turn off / on. and have a blue led instead of yellow green, you have the clone flytouch.

Additional Info:
It was vibrating before i upgraded it to Tipstir's | epad Extra Tweaked Rooted ROM MOD WMT2.1.1_105 | 11/20/10.
After upgrading, the vibration during start up and shutdown has stopped (which is what I wanted to do - Thanks for that).
My ePad Flytouch (which is confirmed to have 30 pin slot USB interface) has a yellow green and red light. (Note: Red when charging)

How does one dump the existing ROM or firmware ? I am very interested on doing the firmware upgrade since my generic flytouch is very slow but from the posts here..it seems like if the update fails there is no way of unbricking if one doesnt have the existing ROM . Its pretty sad for R2D2 and the rest who have bricked their units and don't know what else to try.

Incidentally, Did anybody here found the original rom for the generic Flytouch / Apad 8 inches build WMT 2.0_8102 ?

Are there any disgnostic android program that we can use to check if the hardware fits this mod before we do the actual upgrade ?

My particular build is WMT 2.0_8102 . Help please.

Hi Tipstir's, I have installed the version I 7e20109, I have a 30pin flytouch of, but not if I can upgrade to the latest version you posted. I think it would be interesting to do a relatorio version, its improvements and tablets. Do you mind? I think it would explain a lot. Thank you very much. Great job

There is a new prototype beyond the Extreme Plus was created on Sunday. It has the latest drivers WMT2.1.1_105 plus some extra drivers. I has two different type of features on and off. So you can pick what you want to use. That's TZ211205. I'll post one here soon.

I´m testing two versions, 7f21110b y TZ21111c, and anycase work the touchscreen when startup. Have you one solution? Thanks
