Unbrick or update Coby Kyros 7024 with gingerbread firmware...!!!!

Do you still have a recovery or update menu? I'd like to give it a shot
yea. you also have to turn on auto rotation for the screen to rotate. but its buggy and has a delay.

Did you use utmodules with it or did the soft buttons work? I'll give it a shot tonight and compare it to fw0506

wat are some fun games? i noticed the HD games dont really work like they load and then crash... im sort of nervous to try a update again since it took me forever to revert back.. lol

K so ur probably gettin tired of me posting questions but i downloaded some HD games n got them working.. u know how they use like the touch joytick on the bottom left then like jump or action on the right... i noticed like if i run i cant jump while im running i have to let go of the joystick side then press jump.. is there away to like enable multi touch ?
try playing Guerilla Bob. I can use the virtual joystick at the screen to move and the menu touch button for firing at the same time
...7024 screen being resistive one touch we really cant do multi touch battery360

Which rom have you had the most success with?
Also, I'm curious if there are any limits or restrictions for the logo.bmp, if it's possible to replace it with something else.

are you gonna share the secret? lol... ever find the camera one?
the file is called s3c-button.kl its in utv210_root\system\usr\keylayout . i pulled it from Daves files. i can put it any rom and it works. still trying to get the camera working. and the volume buttons working on the 2.3 roms. so if any body knows where to look i would like to know. but just copy this file MEGAUPLOAD - The leading online storage and file delivery service into the Haipad_M7_322_rootable rom like before.

Got my bricked MID7024 working again. It took awhile but I was playing with the terminal trying to see what I could learn from the boot loader. Unfortunately I didn't get much. The boot loader password is iamcoby.
I have a modified version of the Haipad FW506 Restore image that I used. I modified it so that the boot loader was not replaced in the update process. Not sure if that is what did it or not but the camera is working with the update. Now with this file change I hope to get the home button working.
The modified recovery image can be loaded from the external SD card. I can post the file if anyone wants it.
