I think that's an old ethnic proverb.

I'm fairly certain the old wives are married to the old ethnics and they live together in Ethnia. Between them, they're responsible for all tales and proverbs ( Ts & Ps ) we rely on for valuable guidance in our daily lives. In fact, the very paper they're written on has become known worldwide as TP. Hope that clears it up for you.

4 star rating and normally 3 bucks. Anybody know how to play? I have no clue, but downloaded it anyway.Looks kinda like baseball but there are no bases.

I generally know how cricket works (but I didn't get the app). It is sort of like baseball with one base path in the middle of a filed that goes all directions. You essentially have a home plate at each end of the base path.

The pitcher throws "strikes" by knocking over sticks (wickets) behind the batter rather than over the plate as judged by an umpire. The batter can hit the ball in any direction. Once the ball is hit the the batter has to run to the other end of the base path back and forth as many times as possible before the ball is thrown back in and the runner tagged out. A caught fly ball is also an out. To make it a little more complicated there is another batter at the opposite end of the base path who must run back and forth between the bases in the opposite direction of the hitter. Only one batter actually hits at a time and the other is just a runner. Either can be tagged out.

The team that scores the most runs by going back an forth between the bases wins.
