I actually downloaded this one. No permissions required. I think the beginning levels, at least, would be more fun if you don't try to win them right away. As soon as you clear the blue tiles, the level is complete.

This review says it all:

This App is simply a poorly made Android version of the FM 21-76 (which is available as a free download).

Even discarding the fact that you can get this book for free (in many formats), this "Army Survival Guide" is missing a lot of necessary features that other Android books have.

- There is no option to zoom.
- There is no option to save (so you can't continue from where you left off, having to go back to the TOC every time).
- There are spelling and other errors in this App.
- There is no way to search other than by using the TOC.
- This is an older version of the guide than is currently available (just google FM 3-05.70).
- The App actually hung on me and required me to restart it.

Honestly, do yourself a favor and just get the PDF (or another) version of the FM 3-05.70 (and you can still read this PDF on your Android device).

An Android device that can't run Angry Birds is a device that should be returned to the manufacturer.

This had twice as many one star ratings as 5 star ratings. The one star ratings seemed to have a lot to do with it not working on many devices, so I sacrificed 6.1 MB on my Sony S to see. It works fine. The graphics are really good and the controls are very responsive. The fact that I have not been able to get passed the 1st level, isn't their fault.
