my wifi works great. i leave it on all the time. i have sleep turned off and screen blanks at 10 minutes. i get 14 hours of moderate use under this scenario. i have not tested wifi with sleep mode turned on. when i pull into the garage i hear my nook still in my satchel log on to my home wifi. pretty awesome.

Same experience here... Among the ROMs that I've tried so far (stock, Nookie Froyo, UD and Phiremod), 5.1 has presented the best WiFi experience. No on/off loops and no losing connection after sleep-awake.

Bob, how is your battery life with 5.1?

My battery life isnt bad. I seem to get about 6-8 hours of usage. Depends what IO am doing. Standby battery drain isnt bad. If I let it sit for 5 hours or so I lose 5% or so battery. So all and all Id say it is as good as it evr was. Also note when I flashed initially the battery was at 100% per Phiremod's suggestion.

Wifi works great. No fix needed and tethering works fine too.
