[ROM] ViewCOMB 3.2 - Honeycomb 3.2 for ViewPad 10s

Hello there,

Im using B6-RC04 right now.
Everything is much more stable and faster. Thank you once again, Legionnaire.

However, there are two issues that remains from bootloop version.
One is the WLAN disconnection after my Viewpad 10s enter in standby mode. The device tells me that is connected but every time I try to use Internet, says that this operation needs WLAN connection. Worst of all, I can't do anything through Definitions, but everything come back to normal after reboot.

Another one is the power management. After 13 hours of standby mode, my device have 70% of battery. I think that is related with the previous issue that I talked about.

Yes, this is what I meant. The device tells me that it is connected, but I can't use the internet, and everything come back to normal after reboot. However, I didn't have power management issue.

Hi,
You have to download flash player from the market.
I have no problem with WiFi on my device. I use viewpad 10s 3G.

I downloaded Adobe Flash Player from the market. If I browse directly to the video link, for example http://www.youtube.com/watch?xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx, the video plays perfectly. But if I go to youtube.com, search some video, or click one of the video thumbnails there, it doesn't do anything except the screen becomes dimmer. Request for flash player installation is already gone on the youtube browser. So I suspect youtube already recognized that I have downloaded the player. The problem is I can't play the video from video thumbnails. Is there any setting that I missed? anyone has this problem? In android 2.2, I didn't have to install or set up anything. Thanks a bunch.

im using the latest build, as posted on the first page, great work, very smooth, BUT, none of my games, even the tegra zone ones, are working !, can you please look into this, or do you have a build that the games work, they just randomly crash every time, looks like a driver issue, it was working with build 5, many thanks in advance legionnaire....

im gonna try rco5......

im gonna try rco5......

now wifi is failing to connect, so iv done rco5, rco4 (build 6?), rc03 just bootloops, build 5 works, but is laggy due to ram shortage, build 6 solves the ram issue, but makes the gpu crash during games....i will give it 24 hrs, if the issues with the gpu crashing during games isnt resolved, i will go back to firmware, a2.2, or failing that, honeyice...thanks for all ur hard work legionnaire.

By the way, does anyone know any method to connect our Viewpad 10s to usb keyboard with this build 6?

Is there already a known issue with standby / WIFI reconnect? I'm running build 6 RC 5 and it doesn't reconnect after the auto standby. Did not happen on build 5.

Stay with build 6 ... games are a waste of time =P
I use my tablet just for work and some websurf

its not the only issue mate, id like my games to run, like in build 5, so something drastic was done to the gpu/ram for them not to work anymore, build 6 is smooth, but at what cost, video lags and games crash, which is a shame, im gonna try vegacomb, with the ice cream updates

Yes, there is ... I talked about that at post #328 and lipihardj has the same issue.
However, Legionnaire don't have that kind of problem. I suspect that have something about with viewpad 10s and viewpad 10s 3G.

Anyway, xill said that will try to solve this problem.
Or, we can wait for IceCreamCOMB ... who knows ...

Try this: before flash build 6, enter recovery mode, wipe all things (battery, cache, etc) and format everything (data, sdcard, boot, etc) and then flash. In my case, its a little better. Even if I turn off my viewpad when don't need it for long time, when come back from for short period in standby mode, the device establishes WLAN connection.

rco5, my wifi fails to connect as well...., u could try rco4, but the games crash, due to a lack of ram i think, boot partition in all these builds are 160mb, where as vegacomb is 135mb, more room for the gpu and system...
