just tried entering recovery mode with rco5, fails to open, really want to wipe this thing and give rc04 another go

ok, performed complete wipe using recovery mode, wiped everything, hopefully thats the cache's cleared, might free up some room for the gpu ram too, if im lucky...lol, for reference im using build 6, with a viewpad 10s 3g version...
I would like to be the lucky one with the viewpad 10s 3g version =)

i got mine for £110, bargian....
anyways, testing release 6 (rco4) with complete wipe, using recovery mode to do so, im gonna test a few games to see if the gpu issue gets resolved by the hardwipe....

the latest release of vegacomb, of which this is a port, mentions that the gpu ram was cut down to 96mb, if thats the case, then hopefully legionnaire will release a hotfix, to enable games to play, which this tab does very well, its the reason i got it, that and a few midi programs for my production desktop....
I live in Portugal, so I got mine for £200 (taxes's crap) ...

I've installed back to 2.2 Froyo and playing game like NFS Hot pursuit running well without problem!!!!
as said before, If you prefer the beautiful view on the Tablet, select this ROM ...
but if you want to use the tablet with a full function, Use 2.2 Froyo ...
Waiting for icecream and I hope to get better. Like a Gambling!

right, lookin at the system memory, its hitting 255mb, plus 15.7mb for the kernal, leaving around just 80-90mb ram for everything else..., legionaire, please fix this asap mate..

righto, iv freed up 130mb ram, using system tuner, and overclocked to 1.2ghz, but still no joy, every game crashes..., im fed up, iv tested this as much as my knowledge allows, im going back to build 5, NOTE...GAMES DO NOT WORK WITH RELEASE 6.

could be as simple as the dpi being changed, not sure why the games arnt running,,,,legion, cmon man, find an answer buddy, pls, xd
I tried that but nothing is happening...
You only have to set host mode, connect keyboard and then what?
Start browser and enter any url through keyboard? Didnt worked for me...
Its working now ... I tried with another keyboard

used chainfire 3d to run games with reduced textures, still the same force closure's..., gonna try tegra zone games and see how i get on....i do have PES 2011 running smooth though, without chainfire3d, it may just be as simple as the tablet overheating and the wrong roms for the chipset.....so iv downloaded a select few roms for different chipsets....in particular, games for the acer iconia tab 10.1 a500, and the lg p9999 smartphone, (both tegra 2 chipsets, but different config), i will report back in a few hrs...
