CM9 for Coby 8042

8042-4 - doesn't work touch at this CM9. I unzip CM9 and replace system/vendor with my original dump system/vendor folder and zip moded CM9 again. i install mod CM9 via CWM and it doesn't loading - COBY logo and after all black screen. Then, in my second try, I replace only goodix_touch.ko, zip, install via CWM.. so CM9 loading but touch doesn't work too. Help, how exactly I must to do it right. i change all folders and files like in 9740 thread but after coby i have black screen. it's 100% problem in boot.img so i ned to edit it and i don't know how. can i replace it with mod boot.img for Ricky? my md5 different then Ricky's stock boot.img md5.

Your symptom looks like ricky's. Give it a try. If it doesn't work, return to stock.

I tried to replace Ricky's od boot.img and it start with COBY logo, blink and freezes on COBY logo) with boot.img from CM9_8024 COBY logo passed and i have black screen if i only replaced folders. so i don't know how mod my own boot.img and vampirefo don't answer me, so i think i try to return to my stock fw and install gapps without CM9 custom Rom :'(

Sorry for the confusion. For CM9, use ricky's custom boot in vamp's post #57

If that doesn't work, return to stock.

yeah. it's stuck on COBY logo, so i will try to install this CUSTOM ROM http://www.androidtablets.net/forum...biz-v-2-modified-work-coby-7042-8042-a-3.html maybe with this one all will be nice... i hope))

hola tengo una coby 8042, que le hice una actualizacion atravez de gasai, pero cuando la encendi la pantalla ahora esta movida un centimetro hacia abajo y un centimetro hacia la derecha, no esta encajada dentro del cuadro de las 8pulgadas de pantalla, no entiendo que sucedio quisiera saber si instalandole esta cm9 podre acomodar la pantalla. gracias!! por tu ayuda!!

No my cm9 wont fix your screen, I am not familiar with the rom you flashed, sounds like livesuit which I dont support.
