Hi Legionnaire,

Really admire your work and the simple fact that you're sharing with all of us Viewpad 10s users!

Everything runs perfectly on my pad now, but just one small detail: Why does it take more than one click on the bottons of my viewpad to wake it up? I feel the response is slow.

Plug USB flash drive, open Shuttle Tools and enable host mode. Then you can explore the stick.

Hi, i was to quick with my "puff piece" towards ViewComb. Still hidden WLANs are not connecting. During the week I have to live with hidden, which does not start connecting, but on weekends my broadcasted SSID is fine. So only hidden WLANs do not work at all.

Came now to report, some of my countryman with me included, bluetooth on viewpad 10S using viewcomb 6.2 and much older build, do not works. It would not recognized any bluetooth near the tablets. oddly enough, some of us discover that it can detect bluetooth on PC or laptop, but not Handphone even if it run android OS also. Any idea why?

looked on a few sites last night, the issue with the accelerometer , you have to switch OFF via the settings menu "Auto rotate screen", there is a widget on a few vegacomb builds that allow this switching to be done from the home screen, upto you to search out this and install it, if the application/game does not have a calibration option, then switch off auto rotate screen, and it should work !

thanks for this ROM, Installation was a breeze and it works beautifully.
I was just wondering about the very laggy orientation switch. I.e. when I turn from landscape to portrait, it can take up to 4 seconds until the screen rotates. Is that expected/known behavior or is there something I can do about it?

I am tryign to get install USB driver for ViewPad 10s. Download driver: ViewPad 10s USB driver completed but there is exe file to install the program. When I extraxt the files I cannot install. Can anyone help with instructions on how to get the USB driver working? Big Thanks for your help!

You have to exactly follow the steps in the pdf and maybe connect the charger before.
After you did press the correct sequence of buttons your computer will recognize the device and ask for the driver - this is where you have to choose one of the unzipped files^^

create a folder on your desktop, call it usb, then extract the zip to that folder, then follow the install guide, point windows to the folder, when i done the usb install first time round, i just unzipped the files, and couldnt point windows to a folder, hopefully this solves it for you

Run "Shuttle Tools" (preinstalled) and switch USB mode (just tap the lower huge button ), then it should work. Have never tested it, though.

In the following versions the HOST mode will be the default mode. Then it will be much easier, just plug in a flash and explore it.
