[ROM] ViewCOMB 3.2 - Honeycomb 3.2 for ViewPad 10s

Same here I downloaded 7.1 and got the download protocol error and now I can't open the device. I don't have the cable with me here at work I'll try another version tonight but so far I'm severely disappointed with this device.
Also the browser doesn't work on 7.1, it constantly crashes and the applications also crash when changed orientation.
Legionnare, if we can provide logs to you I will, I need this **** fixed.

Same browser problem here! Downloaded 7.1 and installed it several times, tried Adobe Flash etc. The browser keeps on crashing, while zooming/scrolling. For those who want to browse websites with Viewcomb 7.1: download the Opera Mobile browser in the Android Market for free, it works great! But, i like the sychronized Google Browser much more, so if there's a possibillity to fix that i will be eternally greatfull!!

BTW i also tried the Dolphin browser but it crashes also. The Ninesky browser and Opera browser work but they don't support flash?/javascript? on all websites, so banners are not loading. I really want the Google Browser!!

I am back to 6.3. Never had a browser crash in that version, also no orientation change crash (but orientation change is very slow, sometimes it takes 5 seconds) and no USB bootloader problem

Too bad, because 7.1 was very promising, although I never had the chance to test if my WiFi connection remains active with this version.

I am new in Android tablet. Sorry for my stupid questions.
I got my 10s (3G) last week. I updated it to 6.3 immediately and I wanna upgrade to 7.1 now.
How can I keep / backup all my setting, apps installed ....everything after I Flash it to 7.1?
Or I need to re-install all apps, reset all setting every time I upgrade to a new version?

Hi guys, I'm trying to install a different rom but I can't. When I try to go into installation mode the device says "Starting Fastboot USB download protocol" and the viewcomb installers say Unknown device found. Did I just brick this thing?

Edit: I plugged in the power cable and it is fixed. Installing 6.3 now. Phew.

Hello Legionnaire, Thank you ver much for this amazing android version for my Viewpad 10s !* Everything is working great, i only came accros two issues:

- the Google browser keeps shutting down. Every time i try to browse websites the Google browser shuts down, i experience this issue with hotmail, facebook and other websites. I have tried to use Dolphin Browser but the Same thing happens. Now im using the Opera mini browser wich works fine but i rather use he Google android browser...*

- the other issue is that when i try to reboot the my viewpad it get s stuck at a black screen, with a small text 'fastboot USB starting ' or something like that... When that happens i have to reinstall*Viewcomb, loosing all my settings...

Is there something you can do about these issues? I reinstalled*Viewcomb*five times now... Also tried Adobe Flash, but it made games like Angry Birds unusable...* Thank in advance and greetings from Amsterdam, the Netherlands! Johan

I had updated the Point of View Mobii Tegra, aka POV Mobii with the version 6.3 and works very well, I'm waiting to finish exams to updated to last version.

after 3 days of traying i find the right way:
it seems that the problem with the over sensitiv touchscreen causes only the stockrom v1.
on POV mobii tegra first i install the stockrom v2 (VegaComb ROMs & other ROMs Download Collection - xda-developers)
after that i installed the vegacomb 3.2 build 9n from the sd-card. AND IT WORKS GREAT!!!
also i have to say, that first my wifi did not work. so i removed the sd-card, formated it with the pc, after that, no more problems!

Does anyone use Adobe DRM with 6.3? I cannot authorize my device, it says "Failed to authorize device".
Edit: I think I found it, adobe let you register up to 6 devices. After that you need to contact support.

I've been using 6.3 for a day now and the browser is still crashing. Not as much as 7.1 but it makes browsing impossible. The browser crash after 2 or 3 pages. Installed flash player but did not work, disabled flash content it did not work either. Does anyone have an idea on this?

with crashing issues i dont think i want to try risking installing this on my POV tablet. although i do wish i could move up from android 2.2.

which browser are you using and is your device overclocked?

I'm using native browser and my device is not overclocked. I'm using a wi-fi only viewpad 10s
