[ROM] ViewCOMB 3.2 - Honeycomb 3.2 for ViewPad 10s

Hello altogether,

after using VegaComb and HoneyIce a long time, I finally ran into troubles, preventing me from using it any further - my tablet won´t start with them, whatever I tried to do.

First installation of ViewComb: Looks pretty decent, wow. And starts up quite professional, asking me all the right questions in some first start advisor.

One thing bugs me: As great as that installer is, right from an exe, fast, not complicated - but does that mean with any single update I have to start the whole system from scratch? I can´t install new updates on top of the old ones, without losing all my data and stuff? Or did I miss an important information? Can someone point me in the right direction?

Wow!
There's definately a difference between 6.1 and 6.3 on my Viewcomb 10s wifi only.

The touch screen is working very badly. Sometimes i have to tap 5 times before
it picks up my touch.. So i think the problem with the touch screen on the wifi model
occurs in 6.2..

How can you test that? is there an app for that?

Btw.. I'll be gone for the next 2 weeks on holiday

last week i bought an viewpad 10s, and i put the latest viewcomb on it.
but nearly everytime i turn it on, the touchscreen works only half (the right side wont work at all!)
is there a solution?

Thanks a lot for this fantastic work. Everything is fine. Except below 2 problems.

1. My backup account under privacy is dimmed while "Backup my data" and "Automatic restore" are both clicked.

Backup account
No account is currently storing backed up data．　

2. Sometimes when power off or reboot it will stuck at below screen and need reinstall.

starting fastboot usb download protocol

Is there solution for these 2 problems ?

I solved the above problems by installing 6.3 instead. It is really fantastic and stable enough. No need for 7.1.

After turning off/on the ViewPad 10S with Version 7.1, always "starting fastboot usb download protocol" appears on screen and i have to reinstall.
The Pad is working fine with all Versions up to 6.3

Is there a solution?

Did you try calibrating the screen?

yes i did, i even tried it with the program i found on page 6 of this thread.
it seems it has something to do with the temperature tough, when its cold, it hardly reacts to any touches, however when its a little warmer, it works just fine.

Hello Legionnaire,

I have updated my Viewpad 10s with Build 6.3.
Now i would install Froyo 2.2

I can't install the USB Driver because Windows says "Windows cold not find driver software for your Device"
But i have install the driver right. And when i start the "P10_image_20110210_v1.09_vie" it says:
"USB device not foundPress enter to continue"

Can you help me please ????????????
