I have been following the thread and updated my Kyros. Everything was simple and worked out good. But... some how in the process I lost my shutdown pop up when I press the power button and search key doesn't work. Does anyone know how I can get the shutdown pop up back?

Hello there, just a couple of questions for those who have Gingerbread working:

1) The Driftmania demo works ok with the g-sensor?

2) The problem with seeking in videos bigger than 1 hour 11 minutes is still in Gingerbread or is it gone?

3) Does the battery still have those ups and downs with the meter or does it hold battery information ok?

I shutdown my 7024 while its reading something at my UDISK. When i tried booting it up it cant go past the COBY Logo and just shutsdown again..oh well so now i have an excuse to try the Gingerbread rom.

Additional note!

Done update using Haipad M7 322 Rootable rom with modification base on zenstang steps... But since i already have Dave's 7024 files i just updated my utv210+root.tgz files with the required files for the keys and home. Also I added Tileg's Script "utscipt_wo_uboot_and_logo".

Everything is working now.. Softkeys, Homebutton and Camera. Also the Volume button icon at the notification bar also works when pressed.

Additional note again

i edited my INIT.SMDKV210.RC
i set SETPROP AU.UI.ENABLE_VOLUME_KEY TRUE to FALSE
I also edited SETPROP RO.PRODUCT.MODEL MID_Serails to MID_7024

No more volume key at the Notification Bar.

I would like to request if anybody can upload their INIT.SMDKV210.RC thanks so much!!!

actually i just followed some of your instructions for the softkey and home files (utmodules and s3c-button.kl).
Tileg for the script (utscript_wo_uboot_and_logo) and Zetsang brief instructions notes.

my bootloader is same with my old coby since i used tileg's script file. i think thats the only thing different from your instructions.

i am now uploading to rapidshare my updated Haipad_M7_322_rootable-7024keys.rar file.
