Kinpad I600 7" Capacitive, Phone 3G GPS Wifi HDMI 2.2

Hi friends,
How can i change imei no of this device?
(with which software and how method?)

Please help me. I bought it at **************.
But not registered on a passport. So, the gsm company blocked this unregistered imei no.
I must change its imei no with one of my old phones' imei.

Thanks in advance.

Why dont you just call them and register the kinpad imei?

Because, they want my passport and there must be written that i come from abroad in one month on my passport.
But, i only bought it at aliexpress.
So, there is no information on my passport.
:(

My Kinpad is running very well.

Unfortunately, I'm not able to run the Tweetdeck app. The process crashes at each start...
Has anyone of you a solution for that issue?
Firmware: newest from last week but I had the same problem with the previous version.

Thanks and best regards
Heiko

I was using Hootsuite which works well but now insists on android version only.

Just set up tweetdeck and forced a close. Hootsuite works!

I had some time to kill while waiting for the boss over the weekend so popped in to the local electronics store to play with Viewpad, Acer Android, Galaxy Tab, Xoom and iPad2.

Surprisingly NONE of these units would play MKV files.

The unit that came out tops for me was the 7" Galaxy Tab, fast and responsive with an excellent screen (the Xoom was broken and at 10" the iPad was too big).

What this experience brought home to me was what excellent value for money the Kinpad is. While not as fast as the Galaxy it is still fast and I still find the Kinpads screen quality astounding, especially when considering its price.

Here in the UK a 24 month contract for the 7" Galaxy tab is £25 per month (US$41 ) plus on this tariff you’ll have to pay $369 for the phone which works out at:
Phone Payment 369.00
Monthly Payments ($16 X 24) 384.00
-----------------------------------------
Total cost of phone $753.00

I worked out the monthly cost of $16 by subtracting the sim only equivalent of the same tariff( 300 minutes, 3000 texts and unlimited data).

Now if ShowChina could only get the sound to work on MKV files they would get a 10 out of 10 from me.

Hi All,

At my side, the tablet is very slow on internet (I have a good wifi connexion), for the exemple, is quitte impossible to watch a video on youtube or Dailymotion, it's too laggy.
Do you have a solution ? Do you have the same problem ?

Thank you in advance.

Hey there!

I'm using the Dolphin Browser HD. If I wanna play embbeded Youtube or Vimeo videos, the image is very laggy.
But if open the video with the Rockplayer, if got and excellent image and a very good frame rate.
Flash 10.2 is installed.

Best regards
Heiko

Try Mozzila firefox. You are comparing flash to an actual video player. I am also having this issue but only when I try to play a high rez video. Lower rez videos play fine. I think that if the vodeo is optimized for mobile playback flash plays smooth but if the video is high rez flash playback is choppy.

This is very strange as I can get videos to play without any problem on the standard device, the only issue I have is that I don’t get any sound on HD MKV files (picture quality is STUNNING). It works fine with DiVX files it’s just that you get some pixilation as it’s not as high-res as the HD files (check out the Preview files at Download movies online. DivX, DVD and HD quality. All files are DRM-free and iPod ready! - where you can preview various file types and resolutions).
I’ve tried using Rockplayer but this didn’t work either.

Using the latest Firefox it downloads the file but doesn’t give me the option to play it (one of the options is to open it in Dolphin HD – which doesn’t work either).

Playing movies depends on the type of encoding the user cut the audio in, If there is no suitable codec on the kinpad, well ..... then no audio playback. I have played HD mkv files with no problems. As far as firefox, it should download the file, then give the option to play the file with the default movie player. If your using dolphin HD you need to change the user agent to android default under settings. If you have it set to desktop some websites will display properly and some will not. I think the flash videos should play smoothly using flash 10.3 but as we here have seen they do not, they are choppy as all hell, depends on resolution of the file being played. Flash 10.3 treats flash content as a separate overlay instead of part of the webpage, I think this is the problem with choppy playback. Dolphin HD when the user agent is set to android native, It will play the video with the video player and the video will play smoothly. Flash Playback Sucks! Still beats going back to my crappy samsung rant.

Hi Guys!

Showchina has sent me a new firmware version today via Skype: M.EI6010101.FK18.V2.8
What app do you use to create a full backup of your device?

Best regards
Heiko

Thanks for the tip with Titanium Backup!
But how can I root the I600 tablet? Is there any howto available?

I'm going to upload the file to Rapidshare later today ;)

ShowChina told me, that the new firmware will reduce/remove some cooling problems by improving the chip performance, cause the device gets hot, if you are working intesive.
