Trying to Identify Kernel, Possible Overclocking Possibilities for DM7022 Radio

Hi all. Who can lay DUMPROM firmware for DM7033. If someone can not put something like this to accomplish your goal. Please lay out the firmware. And then I lost the folder nand and many many mistakes. Waiting for an answer.

Does someone have the dump files from the dm7033 I could try porting that rom to the dm7022 I have some programming experience it would take some time. Or do you think it would be better to just port a custom gingerbread rom to the device.

Any update on this ?

Sorry about the delay guys, been busy with my own business lately opening up. The manufacture actually contacted me few days ago so i am assuming they have the files ready but i wasn't online to reply. I tried to get a hold of them again but its chinese new year time and they are closed for 10 days so im out of luck til beginning of next month

in the meantime, i was able to permenantly root my device and clock it to 720mhz which runs the system fairly decent but still has lag

About the bluetooth.....can I use the tablet's bluetooth to connect to a bluetooth OBD2 reader while the car is running?

There is no bluetooth in tablet. Bluetooth is only in head unit and used only for handsfree or A2DP.
So no way to connect bluetooth devices to tablet.

Has anyone attached this to a rear tv yet? Just wanted to see how that worked out. Hopefully I'll receive my unit today.

Also has anyone had any luck figuring out a way to edit the car logo manufacturers?

Crud...that's kind of a deal breaker for me then. I was hoping to hook to one of those sensors....is there a dedicated android device that does this?

Hi Rchapoteau,

The installation of a rear tv is part of my plans, but I havent done it yet, as there is video out I dont foresee any problems.

The car logo is part of the win ce system of the main unit, as far as I know (I hope I'm wrong) no one has managed to hack this.

I thought I read earlier in this thread that someone was able to get Torque running.

Go back and read through starting around page 13 to now (which is what I recommend ANYONE NEW TO THIS TO DO because I see similar questions get asked repeatedly throughout that have been answered/solved). I was pretty sure I remember reading someone mentioning this and figuring out a way to get it working. Could be wrong.

Torque runs just fine on the pad. The issue is the ODB2 module - there is no bluetooth so you'll need to use a wifi version (there are several available). Either use the ad-hoc hack from satellitemark(? was it you?) or get the infrastructure capable wifi ODB module and you're all set.

Hi Guys,

I think it was spacey who did the adhoc wifi for the torque adaptor.

Having my unit installed right now. One thing I'm a little surprised by is the bulkyness of the tablet. Not a big deal. Also a little surprised by how much the bottom lip on the unit sticks out. Hopefully tomorrow after work I'll have a chance to play around and see if there is a way to break into the windows ce portion of the device. I'm honoring it will be similar to how you have to do it on pioneer devices but I doubt it.
