Yes, the apads.com firmware went into the M7++ and "NO" ( I am sure ) it will not work on the 7024 because the h/w is too different ( even though the cpu ( samsung A8PV210 ) and chipset ( Telechips TCC8902 ) are exactly the same... like the Dropad and Herotab ). So the firmware will work after a decompile/change build.prop/recompile. Simple huh. Time to get to work.

i'm really happy that i'm able to use my coby kyros 7024 again, it actually works a lot better than before.
The only issue that i found with this however is the accelerometer, its acting up for games that require the accelerometer like labyrinth and asphalt. i found that if tilting the tablet left and right, the tablet responds as if it was tilting back and fourth and vice versa (basically its off by 90 degrees, but works perfectly for screen orientation).
can anyone help out fix the accelerometer problem?

I just want to share the modified C8lean_v0.41_v2 i'm using right now. I brick my tablet month ago so i have no other choice but to make use of instructions from here Unbrick or update Coby Kyros 7024 with gingerbread firmware...!!!!.

This modified version of C8lean now have the ff:
use a modified utscript
added the UTMODULES from 7024
added s3c-button.kl its in utv210_root\system\usr\keylayout
deleted Phone.apk and TelephonyProvider.apk
updated the model name to MID7024
added original init.smdkv210.rc of Coby Kyros 7024
Basically everything works Volume Hardware buttons, Camera, SoftKeys and HOME button.
For the disclaimer mine just worked. I'm still using the original BootLoader and Logo. If for some reason your camera is not working i really dont know the reason.
If your stock ROM is working dont use this..this is only for those who brick their tablet. There's no way you can recover your stock rom.

I also have C8lean v.5 working but for some reason i cant set the default video player for movies if i have 2 or more players.
Gingerbread is also working 519, 506 but no volume hardware button and 270degrees rotation only.. Gingerbread 607 above for me is not working..dont know why

After 20 pages of reading I still couldn't realize properly so I'd like to ask, if anyone could resume it properly...
Which firmware is the best till now for Kyros 7024 (with all functions working fine, or at least the one with less unfixed issues - like volume buttons etc);

i really dont know why my camera is still working while other's dont, even if i try different version 2.2 or 2.3 of android from different rom makers. Only difference may be that i always use TILEG's utscript so something is not being erased in my NAND Memory. Whenever i test a new firmware i always replaced the default utscript.

Which ROM are you using? My cam does not work and WiFi does not come on. When I turn it on, it reboots! On the plus side, I swapped the 4GB internal with a 32GB. Working fine.

Unless you managed to brick it, as I did with my 7024, I would recommend to stick with the factory firmware. But yes, you can flash your 8024 with any of those firmwares presented here on this very topic, only there's no guarantee that the hardware will fully work aftar you update.

already solved the problem, I downloaded the rom from the first page ...
other details now, I downloaded the rom updated A8 dropad however it worked just right and not even touch the buttons, q may have something to do to work??
