Kinpad I600 7" Capacitive, Phone 3G GPS Wifi HDMI 2.2

Looks like Showchina is pushing android 2.3 on the latest kinpad according to there website. It will be very nice to get that update because Ive been having some issues out of the current firmware.

I can't wait to get mine back. I hope we get the update as well. I have been using CM7 on my CDMA Hero and I love it. My old phone is now a rocket.

I've seen this with devices that had the same spec's. Booting the speed to 1ghz would also be sweet.

I didn't see 2.3 on showchina but I did notice the price drop.

Today I go to 3G area and use internet. My kinpad can not conncet 3G. I use *#*#4636#*#* for system information is
Status

GSM service: inservice
GPRS service: connected
Network type:umt

in my local area status

GSM service: inservice
GPRS service: connected
Network type:EDGE

I think Mykinpad want some program to connect it. I Use M.EI6010101.FK15.V2.5

Great. Thanks for the pics I was interested in doing that as well but I sent mine off. Could you see if the internal storage is a removable sdcard or is it flash on the board?

It is a non-removable 8Gb chip........sorry.

I take that back Im still getting a crapshoot signal from ATT..................

This sux..........one min I have 4 bars...the next min I have 1 bar and the next no bars. Is anyone else getting poor signals like this?

I'm guessing this wasn't an Android 2.3 upgrade.

ok........the crazy thing is if I enable 3G my signal drops to 1 or no bars. If I enable 2G Network only I get a full 4 bars..................

Has the same processor and less storage. Not much better. But, if they can port Android 2.3 to that then they can do the same for the Kinpad.

It is slightly smaller which will make finding a case easier, no raised buttons and front / back cameras. Besides that I think it's the same device. It's the same processor so I can't see why we can't have 2.3. If we don't get it then we just use a copy from the new tablet. I'd give it a go.

My Problem.. Kinpad i600 can use Phone But cannot use EDGE.GPRS and 3G. I Think simcard and IMEI is different. Because myfrind use his simcard the frist time. Next Time i use mysimcard. Cause have Problem. You Think ilike me.

Now I use samsung Omnia it use windowsmolile 6.5. I understand for it. but do not understand android os system. Thank You.
